Norman Orban
Why are you running?
I recently moved to Wrentham with my wife to raise our 4- and 6-year-old boys closer to family, and I would like to become more involved in the community. My experience as a real estate attorney makes me well suited for the Planning Board, where I hope to serve the community and use the skills I have developed over the past 13 years of practicing law.
Bio
I am a partner with the law firm of Allcock & Marcus in Braintree. My focus is representing condominiums and homeowners’ associations, property managers and developers in Maine and Massachusetts. I provide associations and developers with general representation and in litigation matters in State, Federal and Appellate Courts, and have represented clients before Planning Boards, Zoning Boards and the Appellate Tax Board related to disputes concerning defective construction, negligence defense, taxation, zoning and development issues among other matters. I am presently a member of the Community Associations Institute New England Chapter’s Board of Directors and have spoken on legal issues at Community Associations Institute's Massachusetts and Maine annual conferences as well as at Community Associations Institute National Law Seminar in New Orleans, LA. Additionally, I provide and participate in educational webinars at the state and national level.
