Why are you running?
Having followed planning board meetings for the past year, I am running for a seat on the board to actively contribute to the decision-making process. I think it’s important we continue to foster responsible growth and I am committed to shaping the future of our community in a positive way.
Bio
I graduated from UMASS Amherst with a B.A. in History and studied software engineering at Harvard Continuing Education School. My professional path has led me to a successful decade-long career as a software engineer. In 2021, my family (wife and two children, ages 4 and 7) moved to Wrentham to be closer to family. I have a keen interest in town planning, combining my historical background with a passion for shaping the future of our local environment. I plan to work with the other board members to ensure that proposed developments are the best they can be for Wrentham, and I am prepared to deny projects when necessary.
Areas that are important to me include ensuring:
-
Developments are a good fit for Wrentham bylaws and master plan, and working with developers to make proposed developments fit
-
Our roads are safe for driving and walking
-
Developments are economically viable
-
Long-term thinking and carefully considered changes
