Why are you running?
I believe a well-rounded committee makes it far more approachable and brings up opinions and ideas that might not otherwise come up. For this reason, I would like to be a voice for those families who may not have the opportunity or courage to address their concerns due to different situations.
Bio
My name is Rebecka Webber and I am running for a seat on the Wrentham Elementary School Committee. I am a mom to two magnificent little kids; one who will be attending kindergarten and one who will be entering his first year of preschool in the fall. We have lived in Wrentham for 8 years, though my husband grew up here and came back after transferring from the military. When we first moved back, I worked as an assistant in a local childcare center and absolutely loved watching them grow and discover. When we had plans to start our own family, plans shifted and I began working as an office manager for my husband’s family company. We are rooted in this community, and like many others, would like to continue to see Wrentham be a great place to raise a family.
