Michelle Rouse

Why are you running?

I am running for Selectman to ensure Wrentham continues to be a healthy and thriving community, where we hold genuine respect for each other and for our town. I believe that when we come together, we can drive real change; for economic development, continued excellence in education, growth of town resources and promote programs for all our citizens.

Bio

I moved to Wrentham in 1998 with my husband Tim. We raised our three children who participated in town sports and programs and attended Wrentham Public Schools. Currently, our oldest son is an officer in the U.S. Navy and our two daughters attend Villanova University.

My dedication to community involvement spans my years of living in town. I have served on search committees for two school superintendents, town administrator and DPW supervisor. I was on the Wrentham School Committee and held the position of Vice Chair for eight years. I was a founding member and on the Board of Directors of Wrentham Elementary School Trust (WEST) and on the Capital Planning Board as the School Committee’s liaison. I started Wrentham Angels, a volunteer organization which provides aid to residents in need. Currently, I am an appointed member of the Wrentham Housing Authority and a volunteer for the Wrentham 350th Celebrations.
